30-day weight loss challenge with friends: week by week 📅

⚡ In short: A 30-day challenge splits neatly into four weeks: start and habit, catching the slump, a milestone to celebrate, final push and finale. Don’t expect miracle numbers – it is about sticking with it, a fair comparison and fun in the group.

🏁 Week 1: start and habit

Set a start and end date, log your starting weight and agree on the rules (a template: weight loss challenge rules). The main goal of week one is to make morning logging a habit. Same time, same scale – nothing more.

🕳️ Week 2: catch the slump

After the first days, momentum often drops. Arrange something for this phase, send each other short cheers and remember: daily numbers fluctuate, the trend counts. If you’re stuck, read no motivation to lose weight?

🎯 Week 3: a milestone

Set a shared checkpoint that needn’t be tied to a specific number on the scale – like “everyone has logged for 14 days” or a walk together. Celebrate it briefly, then carry on.

🏆 Week 4: final push and finale

Now consistency counts. On the last day you work out who leads in percent and celebrate the winner with the crown 👑. A small, voluntary stake can fit here: ideas for stakes and prizes.

🔁 Afterwards: the rematch

When the fight ends, FatFight offers a rematch – same group, new round. The FatFight Leaderboard also runs monthly: everyone competes against everyone, 1st place wins a 15 € Amazon voucher (once at least 3 participants have a score), scored in percent only, at most 3% per week. 🤔 Realistic expectations and limits

How much changes in 30 days differs from person to person – that is why FatFight promises no numbers. Weight fluctuates daily, and slow, steady change is generally considered more sustainable than crash diets. With existing health conditions, pregnancy, eating disorders or any doubt, please ask your doctor first. Taking part is voluntary and nobody gets put on the spot.

❓ Frequently asked questions

How does a 30-day weight loss challenge work?

In four weeks: start and habit, catching the slump, celebrating a milestone, final push with a finale. Everyone logs their weight in the morning and the leaderboard shows the standings.

How much weight can I lose in 30 days?

That differs for everyone, and FatFight makes no promises about it. Sticking with it and a healthy approach matter more than a number. If you have questions, medical advice helps.

What if I fall behind in the middle?

On FatFight, skipped days can’t be added later, and three days without an entry means K.O. After that, the rematch continues things – a fresh start is always possible.

Is there anything to win?

In your group you decide on the stakes yourselves, small and voluntary. In the FatFight Leaderboard, 1st place wins a 15 € Amazon voucher every month, once at least 3 participants have a score.
